代官山インスタレーションが始まって以来、毎回ヒルサイドテラスには様々な作品が設置されてきた。第６回展を迎える今回は、ヒルサイドテラス４０周年という節目の年でもあり、これまでの応募実績をふまえて、敷地内の公募スポットを特定せず、応募者自身が場所を選定するという方式をとる。
４０年を経てもなお、旧山手通りの顔としての静かな佇まいを見せ、都市や文学をテーマにしたソフト企画が新たな層をよびこんでいるヒルサイドテラスのさらなる魅力をひきだす提案が望まれる。

　　　　　ただし、立ち入り禁止区域（Ｅ棟茶室周辺など）およびレンタルスペースを除く。

Hillside Terrace has hosted many works of Daikanyama Installation since its first exhibition in 1999. This year, which commemorates the 40th anniversary of Hillside Terrace, will see another challenge: those who apply for Hillside Terrace will choose a site by themselves, and will propose a plan suited to this specific site. Proposals drawing new charms of this historically important complex will be expected.
