Entry brief
Submission of Proposal of artworks, art projects and events such as performance using streets and/or historical architecture.

| 2.
Eligibility and Condition of artworks
|
- Any individual or collective is eligible to apply, regardless age, sex and nationality.
- Artworks of any categories are eligible to apply.
- Artworks proposals must have consideration on the conditions of each venue.
- Artworks must be for temporary installation only, and all the existed elements at the venue must be fully recovered after the artwork detached.
- Installation of the artwork must not cause any damages or losses.

Notes
- No direct inquiry to each venue is allowed.
- Dates and time for carry-in and installation of artworks may be designated depends on the venue. Please indicate necessary time of preparation at the site on your proposal.
- Artworks must keep audiences' safety as priority, must be carried-in and installed under the artists' responsibility. Artworks may be taken away after installation when they are judged dangerous.
- Organizer has no responsibility on the damages and losses upon artwork caused by natural disaster and passers' vandalism during the exhibition.

3. How to apply
All applicants shall fill up the official registration form and submit the artwork proposal with it.
|
- Official application form is available by downloading the file from the website.
- Artwork proposal must be compiled within 2 sheets of A3 format, which includes concept, illustration and architectural drawings.
- Applicants must not write their names on the proposal material.
- Proposal material must not be paneled nor framed.
- Material such as models or sculptures are not accepted, but pictured material of those can be included in the proposal sheets.
- Submitted proposal materials will not be returned.

Jury members will screen the submitted material. One work at each venue will be selected. There would be the case that one artwork selected when judged no works appropriate for the site.
Final judgment of execution of the artwork will be made after confirmation with the management of the site. (details on the final form of execution have must be discussed between the artist and the committee office based on situation of the site at the time).
Announcement: January 22 (Mon)
Result of screening will be directly announced to the artists selected. Also announced on the OCAC website.
The artists of selected works must carry-in and install the artworks within designated period discussed with the committee.

Production support for execution of the selected artworks
Maximum 200,000 YEN will be provided as production support for the selected works.

Site visit tour and guidance
The committee will provide the site visit tour and guidance for the applicants who wish to obtain detailed information as the following schedule.
Please apply for the tour at the OCAC previous to the scheduled dates.
The tour requires 1,000 YEN per participant as direct cost of transportation.

Handling of submitted proposal material and artworks
All the submitted proposal material will belong to the Committee after arrival. The committee has the right to handle the material from that time on.
All the submitted proposal material will not be returned to the applicants
The committee has right to use the images of the proposal material and the executed artworks for the official publication such as the exhibition catalog, websites and necessary promotional use for the exhibition. |
