It has been 20 years since Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale started in the rural snowy country. The last Triennale received 550,000 visitors from around the world. The book is Japanese-English bilingual and features all artworks and events as well as the texts contributed by the general director and those involved in the festival including supporters, artists and residents.
